I’ve read a little from some of them but Courtney Tuttle and Mark Butler are my gurus of choice. I was one of the very lucky ones to have found these internet marketing educators at the beginning of my journey to figure out how to make money online. Many people who are on the forums of the Keyword Crash Course suffered a journey through supposed guru after guru and lost tons of money along the way. There’s always a silver lining to every cloud and these students certainly learned what not to do in internet marketing. It’s a shame however that they had to waste so much money, time and effort to figure it out.

Court and Mark started the Keyword Academy and originally sold their consulting services for those who wanted personal training in SEO and internet marketing. When I found their site several months ago, I was impressed by how clean it was. There weren’t tons of ads all over the place confusing you where to go next. They gave (and continue to give) a lot of free information to get you going setting up niche websites. Their free 10 page e-book was what got me hooked. I printed and read it several times before taking the plunge, buying my first domain and setting up my first niche website.

Shortly after I had some personal interaction with both boys and was convinced that they guys were for real and solid citizens to boot.  I signed up for their keyword crash course which at the time cost me $600.  This was the price I was willing to pay to get their secret formula for figuring out keyword profitability. It may seem steep but I was so taken by their professionalism and personal touch that I was sure this would be a good investment. I haven’t been disappointed.

After much work to keep making the course better, Mark and Court changed their course to a subscription model. The added benefits have so far been endless. The forum is worth the subscription price alone. You can ask whatever questions you like there and other students, experienced ones and novices alike, will answer. Mark and Court answer posts as well. They also offer tools that are extremely useful and help you push your sites up in the SERPs. They built a network of 50 article directories, each from a different IP that students can write short posts on and include a backlink to the sites they are promoting. They are constantly adding information that helps their students learn how to make money through internet marketing.

Court and Mark give monthly webinars on topics of interest and each time I am enlightened and wonder where would I have ever been if I hadn’t have found my gurus – Courtney Tuttle and Mark Butler.

You can usually tell if they can be trusted by listening to what they say. If it sounds too good to be true, well…you know the deal. The course should explain the tough parts as well as the simple steps. There is a lot of work involved when learning how to make money online and if the tough jobs are missing from the course the instructor either does not know what it takes or they are just trying to get over on you with something that doesn’t work. Don’t ever believe them if they are trying to sell you fast money. Mark Butler and Courtney Tuttle at the Keyword Crash Course are known for their honest (sometimes brutally honest) approach and have a reputation as gurus in the field.

Help And Support

As you learn internet marketing, lots of questions come up. You need to be able to get the answers to these questions otherwise you can’t proceed. Ongoing help and support is necessary for you to learn internet marketing. The Keyword Crash course offers a forum to assist its members.  Forums are a great place to learn new techniques to try and what simply did not work for other members. This couldn’t be more true on this course’s forum. I am learning knew information and new resources every single day from other members. Mark and Court jump in too to make sure there is no misguiding going on.

Dynamic and Continued Education

If a course is not ongoing and evolving it will soon become worthless in the internet marketing business. The internet changes daily and newer and better marketing methods are born every day. Dynamic training gives you access to these methods and can help keep you successful for many years. If the course offers only a one-time method you may soon discover that the methods taught are no longer effective. This is the reason that Mark and Court changed their course model to a membership one. By being ongoing, they are able to keep their students abreast of the latest/greatest in the field of internet marketing.
